What other standards do we offer?
We have a collection of niche standards where we have the practical experience of applying their core requirements in a way that functions with our customers operations effectively. These niche standards span the Aerospace industry, Information Security, Data Privacy, Construction Modelling and MOD DEF-STAN (UK Defence Standards).
AS 9100 & 9120
Aerospace
Both of these standards cover the practical application of a quality system based of ISO 9001 but these are then tailored to aerospace industry by including industry specific additional requirements and controls. The difference between the two is that AS9100 is applicable to all OEM and part suppliers whereas AS9120 is applicable to distributors.
We have practical experience of implementing these standards from the ground up for a number of manufacturers and distributors; helping them gain and maintain certification against this family of standards.

ISO 22301
Business Continuity
This is the standard for business continuity management. Ideally every company should have a plan in place to be able to continue operating and minimise the impact of situations when everything seems to be going wrong. ISO 22301 is focused around establishing structured processes/procedures for how to deal with those situations and build resilience up within your business to ultimately protect your business and keep you going.

ISO 27701
Management Addon
ISO 27701 is one of the few ISO’s we do that isn’t actually individually certifiable. This system actually consists of a number of additional controls and systems of best practice around privacy information management that you can choose to opt into when building an ISO27001 management system. It focuses around Personally Identifiable Information and is designed to support data controllers and data processors who have responsibility and accountability over PII data.

ISO 19650 (BIM)
Building Information Management
BIM (Building Information Management) defines how information is handled over the whole lifecycle of a built asset. The intention of ISO 19650 is to establish a common framework for companies to work at a BIM level 2 standard by default.
A niche standard that we have worked with a couple customers on. Integrates well with other ISO standards like 9001 and 14001. We can provide advice on the requirements of the ISO or can help create the management system itself.

Medical Devices
This standard sets out the management requirements for medical devices including regulatory compliance and is focused on the design, production, servicing and management of medical devices. This is an applicable standard for OEM, own-labelled/rebranding companies and even distributors/re-seller companies.
We have practical experience in applying this standard within companies handling class I and class IIa/IIb devices, getting them initially certified and the continued maintenance of their certification.

ISO 14064
Greenhouse Gases
(GHG) Green House Gases – specifications for quantification, monitoring, validation, reporting, reducing and enhancing removals
This standard came out in 2018/2019 and has 3 parts. The different parts concentrate on the different aspects listed covering GHG emissions; they detail specific principles that should be used and provide guidance and requirements covering all aspects of a businesses operations to ensure the correct recording/reporting of GHG from design and development to production, management and distribution.
Another recent addition to our repertoire, we are currently working on a number of customer projects linked to this standard and with the UK gov’s current push in requesting Carbon Reduction Plans from businesses.

Carbon Footprint
Similar to the ISO 14064 work we have completed; this standard specifies the principles, requirements and guidelines for quantifying and communicating the carbon footprint of products whilst taking the full product lifecycle into consideration.
We have been working with customers on this standard concurrently with the ISO 14064 work.

GAFTA Standards
Grain & Feed Association
(GAFTA) Grain and Feed Trade Association
These layout and refer to a set of trade and arbitration rules for the grain and feed industries. They include contract templates and quality specifications established by the governing body to facilitate a standardised approach to international trade in grains, animal feed, pulses and rice.
We have been working with a team of superintendents for a number of years now to assist them with maintaining a highly compliant system, ensuring the quality of their operations meet the requirements of their GAFTA Registration.

This is the British governing body responsible for regulating the UK private security industry; becoming an SIA approved contractor can be difficult; we have a working knowledge of SIA requirements having worked with companies to maintain their approval.
